Terms and Conditions
Returns
We strive to supply goods in excellent condition. We will
repair or replace for free any item found defective or damaged before
delivery. All goods may be returned under the Distance Selling Regulations. You are required to notify us in writing or other durable means within
7 days of receipt of goods, following that all rights to cancel
will expire. Upon expiration of this period returns are accepted at our discretion
subject to the following;
Receipt of faulty, damaged or
incomplete goods
If you receive goods that are damaged or defective we will repair or
replace the part free of charge, provided you contact our Customer
Services Team to advise us in writing within 24 hours of delivery.
Do not return goods without
confirmation from ourselves.
We cannot accept return of products damaged after delivery.
Please note, we do not guarantee blades batteries, and cutting surfaces
unless there is a manufacturing fault.
No refund, exchange or further compensation can be made if any
alterations or repairs are made to the item by yourself.
All faulty or incomplete items must be notified by email within 7 days
of delivery
Returns of non faulty goods,
As soon as you realise that you need to change your order please
contact us and one of our advisors will help you. If you amend your
order, you may find there are changes to your delivery timescale and/or
the price you pay for the item (as you willl be charged the current
selling price on the day you amend the order).
The packaging may be opened with minimum damage but the
goods
should not be used or assembled.
Items must be in a resaleable condition and returned or collection
arrangements made promptly at your cost. If collection or
cancellation
post despatch of an item is required, we will charge you the cost of
collection plus our outgoing shipping (please note for beds and
mattresses this may be as much as £150 or more) of which you will
be
notified at time of cancellation.
If the goods are used, soiled,
modified, assembled (even partially) then we will not be able to
refund.
The above will apply if an order is cancelled subsequent to
shipment from IdealHomeStore to our delivery partners i.e. when it is
in their network.
Please note all
sizes are given in good faith but are not guaranteed and should be used
for guidance only.
A restocking fee of 25%; (or £5.00 whichever is the
greater) up to £100 sale plus 20% over shall also apply. Our
delivery postage or P&P charge will also be deducted from refunds.
Custom orders (e.g. sofas) cannot
be canceled once payment is made
Returns due to incorrect address, or
delivery problems/failed delivery
In the event that our courier company or the post office cannot deliver
and the product is returned to ourselves then we will charge to cover
the fees levied on us by our courier for the outgoing and return
shipments to IHS plus an additional delivery fee based on our actual
costs in the event redelivery is organised. A restocking fee may be
charged.
We do not accept cancellation of order for products in this event as
the goods are not in the pristine condition that we need for sending to
a new customer.
No refunds will be given if a parcel is not received when the address
provided in incomplete or incorrect.
Once a product is despatched it is typically not possible - or only
possible at very high cost to change an address. This cost may be
close to or even exceed the item purchase price.
Notes
Any despatch dates are given in good faith.
Non Bed / Mattress Items. While we ship all our products promptly
- we
reserve the right to wait 30 days before considering a product lost in
the post
The returns policy for faulty/damaged goods offered by IHS does not
cover cosmetic faults such as scratches or damage to trim or associated
marks caused by normal use of the product. The warranty is also void if
the manufacturers instructions have not been followed or if the
product has been subject to misuse, modification, careless use or
excess force.
