Credit/Debit Card Charge-back Policy Ultimate Locks Ltd operate several on-line stores, information about these is listed in the "About us" section of the individual stores, in the event of customers doing charge-backs on a card transactions of any kind, for reasons that they do not recognise the transaction name, Ultimate Locks Ltd reserve the right to recharge these transactions plus an administration fee of £10 or 10% whichever is greater. It is up to you the customer to carry out due diligence regarding any purchases you have made from the Internet and make sure that whatever shows on your statement is checked against our other trading names before thinking about raising a charge-back. Dependant upon your method of payment and the store you made the purchase from it could show as either of the following names: Discount Locks, Ultimate Locks Ltd, Ideal Home Store, the actual store name or something similar.
Purchase Of Products Manufactured From Wood Please note many of our products are manufactured from wood and as such they may contain natural bumps, blemishes and knots. This is all part of the woods natural characteristics. Any product containing such bumps, blemishes and knots are not considered to be damaged or faulty therefore customers should take this into consideration when buying any product made from wood. Returns Policy We strive to supply goods in excellent condition. We will repair or replace for free any item found defective or damaged before delivery. All goods may be returned under the Distance Selling Regulations. You are required to notify us in writing or other durable means within 7 days of receipt of goods, following that all rights to cancel will expire. Upon expiration of this period returns are accepted at our discretion subject to the following;
Important - Your Delivery You are required to inspect the packaging of your delivery upon receipt. If the packing is damaged, you must sign for it as 'Damaged' and report to us within 24 hours via phone, email or via our website. Without this, your signature is your confirmation that the goods are in acceptable condition. You will be unable to claim from us a replacement item if the packaging was damaged and you failed to inspect the delivery. We will however supply you with replacement parts at cost subject to availability. All damages claims will require photo evidence. The delivery driver is required to wait while you make a quick visual inspection of the packaging prior to signing for your goods.
Furniture Requiring Construction Once you have received your product please unpack and carefully inspect all items prior to assembly, as once you have assembled of partly assembled the product we will not be able to to accept any claim for damages as this could have occurred in the build process.
Receipt of faulty, damaged or incomplete goods If you receive goods that are damaged or defective we will repair or replace the part free of charge, provided you contact our Customer Services Team to advise us in writing within 24 hours of delivery.
If the goods are used, soiled, modified, assembled (even partially) then we will not be able to refund or replace damaged goods.
We cannot accept return of products damaged after delivery.
Please note, we do not guarantee blades batteries, and cutting surfaces unless there is a manufacturing fault.
No refund, exchange or further compensation can be made if any alterations or repairs are made to the item by yourself.
All faulty or incomplete items must be notified by email within 7 days of delivery
Returns of non faulty goods, As soon as you realise that you need to change your order please contact us and one of our advisors will help you. If you amend your order, you may find there are changes to your delivery timescale and/or the price you pay for the item (as you willl be charged the current selling price on the day you amend the order).
The packaging may be opened with minimum damage but the goods should not be used or assembled. Items must be in a resaleable condition and returned or collection arrangements made promptly at your cost. If collection or cancellation post despatch of an item is required, we will charge you the cost of collection plus our outgoing shipping (please note for beds and mattresses this may be as much as £150 or more) of which you will be notified at time of cancellation.
You must take extra care to repackage the item properly and if necessary with additional packaging as the integrity of the original packaging will have been compromised due to opening. If the item arrives back damaged you will need to claim the cost of the product from your own courier company.
If the goods are used, soiled, modified, assembled (even partially) then we will not be able to refund.
Beds or mattress that have been used can not be returned for hygiene reasons.
Please note all sizes are given in good faith but are not guaranteed and should be used for guidance only.
A restocking fee of 25% or £5.00 whichever is the greater up to £100 sale plus 20% over shall also apply. Our delivery postage or P&P charge will also be deducted from refunds.
Custom orders (e.g. sofas, wrought iron beds) cannot be canceled once payment is made
Returns due to incorrect address, or delivery problems/failed delivery In the event that our courier company or the post office cannot deliver and the product is returned to ourselves then we will charge to cover the fees levied on us by our courier for the outgoing and return shipments to IHS plus an additional delivery fee based on our actual costs in the event redelivery is organised. A restocking fee may be charged.
We do not accept cancellation of order for products in this event as the goods are not in the pristine condition that we need for sending to a new customer.
No refunds will be given if a parcel is not received when the address provided in incomplete or incorrect. Once a product is despatched it is typically not possible - or only possible at very high cost to change an address. This cost may be close to or even exceed the item purchase price.
Time scales For reporting problems Customers are required to report problems to us within a fair and reasonable time scale. Please see the table below.

The returns policy for faulty/damaged goods offered by IHS does not cover cosmetic faults such as scratches or damage to trim or associated marks caused by normal use of the product. The warranty is also void if the manufacturers instructions have not been followed or if the product has been subject to misuse, modification, careless use or excess force.
Shipped returns: A restocking fee of 25% (or £5.00 which ever is the greater) up to £100 sale plus 20% over shall also apply (note shipping costs will also be chargeable) Telephone and email communication Ideal Home Stores reserve to right to choose only to correspond via email in certain instances where it has become apparent that the customer has been aggressive or abusive to it's staff, all of our phone calls are logged and recorded, in instances like this we will refuse to enter into further telephone conversations and attempt to resolve the issues via email only, in the unlikely event that the abuse continues via email, we reserve the right to terminate all communication until such time as the other party can reinstate talks in a proper manor.
